On average a Digital art teacher can make anything around 115,000 dollars a year. The amount may vary depending on what level they teach and the location of the school or institute. May it be teaching in a big city the teacher can earn more in a college or big institute, than they would teach in a high school in the same city, but yet it still would be more than in a smaller farming town where the computer technology aspect of things would not be desired as much. Another thing that will affect how much a digital art teacher will earn is the type of education. To be a Digital art teacher you may want to have Bachelor of Fine Arts, Visual Arts or Studio Arts degrees and also you may want to be familiar with Photoshop and just art in general.

A day in the life of a digital art teacher can be really fun or really not fun, all depending on whom you are and what you enjoy doing. A computer is the primary tool for a digital art teacher. This field is not stable at times; one day you could be doing whatever and then the next you will be doing comic book designs or making a master piece to be put in an art gallery. Many days a digital artist can put in 10- 12 hour days on average, but a teacher may not put in that much unless they do things on the side as well as the classroom stuff. It is the teacher duty to teach the class all the things about creating websites, making pictures on photo shop, or anything else digital.

With the world evolving and changing all the time, the digital industry is a big part of all this. More and more people are doing things digitally to save paper and also time, with many of today’s programs you can take something that would normally take you about a half hour to do by hand and do it in as little as one minute digitally, this is what the teacher is teaching to the students.

Being a digital art teacher means that you should have a good sense of art in general, knowing how to draw things. Colors are a main thing in the digital art world. If you don’t have the right colors together then things will look off, bad quality or they may be a good combination and actually look quite good. But it all depends on the person and how they perceive things to be and what they are interested in. being an art teacher can be really awesome because you really don’t have any limits on what you can do at all. You can create whatever you want, sometimes though you may have certain requirements but not usually.

Experimenting is the big part of being an artist in general. Experimenting is how you figure out what you want to do. You may think that one idea will look awesome until you start creating it then you will realize that “hey I don’t really like this what if…” and you might just end up completely changing your design and everything, that maybe a good thing if it turned out good, or it can be a bad thing if you did to much of one color, or used a wrong shape. Being an artist has some great advantages, you are free to express your mind and passions without getting into a lot of trouble!
