Welcome to Mike's Step-by-step. This tutorial will walk you through the most important steps of building a web page. You can see what our final product will look like in the link below. The layout for this design is very, very generic. It is not the only design, nor is this the only way to lay out a page. The intent of this tutorial is to get you grounded so you have the basics to build your own designs.

I'm going to make the assumption that if you're reading this, you sat through the lecture. Therefore, some explinations will be skipped. "What sorts of things will be skipped?", you ask. I'm going to assume you know what a div tag is and what a block level tag is. That sort of thing.

Objective
